We have
daily sponsors scheduled up to July 21, but only a few dates beyond that.
The next "Kevin & Kell" collection, "On Strike" is now available at
The Bill Holbrook Store. The price is $15.95, plus shipping.
I've returned from Dexcon where the four of us had another wonderful time. I only have two more cons remaining in 2010:
Otakon in Baltimore on July 30-Aug. 1 and
Intervention, a con in the Washington DC area on September 10-12. They have a really strong lineup of webcomic creators, and I'm looking forward to it.
I've been asked to collaborate on a comic book project with Rob "
Erfword," "
Partially Clips") Balder and sci-fi legend Ben Bova. I'm illustrating a 24-page feature titled "Duel in the Somme" which will debut at Intervention. Rob has more details on his website
here. Even better, it will be colored by "K&K" colorists
Terrence and
Isabel Marks. I've been doing the inking on it this week, and last night I finished the cover art.
I was recently interviewed for a podcast, which you can listen to
here.
As previously mentioned, The Bill Holbrook Store has "
On the Fastrack: New Hair Day" and "
Safe Havens: Taking Wing." We also have the remaining stock of Plan Nine collections, which are discounted
here, and I've completed the artwork for the next books, entitled "On the Fastrack: Merger!" and "Safe Havens: Resident Advisor" and handed it the publisher. As previously noted, the websites of "
On the Fastrack" and "
Safe Havens" have been redesigned. Remember to now access "Fastrack" at
The Washington Post and "Safe Havens" at the
Seattle P-I.
In other Fastrack news, Bud Spore, the strip's IT guru, is now posting weekly commentary of the events going on in that strip. You can experience what exists of his personality
here. Please write comments; he's lonely.
I'm honored and delighted that the Mensa organization has selected "Kevin & Kell" as one of its
Top 50 Websites. Thanks!
