I only have two more cons remaining in 2010: Otakon in Baltimore on July 30-Aug. 1 and Intervention, a con in the Washington DC area on September 10-12. They have a really strong lineup of webcomic creators, and I'm looking forward to it.
Earlier this year I was asked to collaborate on a comic book project with Rob ("Erfworld," "Partially Clips") Balder and sci-fi legend Ben Bova. How could I say no?
I've just completed penciling and inking 24 pages of "Duel in the Somme," which will debut at Intervention. I really enjoyed this experience as it allowed me to use artistic muscles I hadn't employed before. Rob has more details on his website here. Even better, it's now being colored by "K&K" colorists Terrence and Isabel Marks so you know the results will be fantastic.

As previously mentioned, The Bill Holbrook Store has "On the Fastrack: New Hair Day" and "Safe Havens: Taking Wing." We also have the remaining stock of Plan Nine collections, which are discounted here, and I've completed the artwork for the next books, entitled "On the Fastrack: Merger!" and "Safe Havens: Resident Advisor" and handed it the publisher. As previously noted, the websites of "On the Fastrack" and "Safe Havens" have been redesigned. Remember to now access "Fastrack" at The Washington Post and "Safe Havens" at the Seattle P-I.
